Most societies, today, are made up of people with diverse cultures, nationalities, and ethnicities. Today, migration and communication between nations is common occurrences and sometimes necessary; hence, the acceptance of different nationalities by each other and the lack of social distancing becomes a necessity for pluralistic societies. For years, Iran has welcomed large numbers of Afghan immigrants as well as many Iraqi travelers. Considering the importance of the manner and quality of communication between different nationalities and the determining role of the attitude of the host society in this regard, this study is conducted to investigate the attitudes of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad students towards four nationalities: Iraqi, Afghan, American and Dutch. The research method is survey, with the sample size being 197 people who were randomly selected and filled in the Bogardes scale for the four nationalities. Statistical analysis of the data shows that Iranian students have had significant differences in their attitudes toward these four nationalities. According to the results of this study, the Netherlands, as the representative of Europeans, has the highest acceptance rate among Iranian students, followed by the United States and Afghanistan, respectively, and finally, Iraq has the lowest acceptance rate among Iranian students.

Study of how to spend non-native students of Ferdowsi University among leisure time, is purpose of this research. Non-native students experience different process in different terms related to leisure time due to special conditions. Entering in new environment, and often new experience in a metropolis, can be understood of people for different leisure time. In fact, since non-native student arrived in own city of study, shares his leisure time with his friends and his family plays a very small part in spending his leisure time. The more elbowroom, having more time to spend leisure time, getting to know new friends and different types of leisure time in a metropolis, opportunity to relationship with opposite sex and many other things will cause of difference in the leisure time of non-negative students. The method of this research was qualitative. With 40 non-native students, individual in-depth interviews were done and finally, by reaching theoretical saturation, the interviews were coded in three stages and finally -analyzed. One of the most important results of this study is the reduction of leisure time in the final semester. Also, the type of spending leisure time for non-native students in the final semester has differences that are discussed in the findings. Generally, Activities in social networks, relationship with opposite sex, street surfing and going to the park are most important leisure activities of the students. More than twenty of leisure time is described according to interviews in the report.

Each society and culture, according to its condition and requirements, makes special circumscriptions, criterions and norms in choosing a spouse. In every culture one may have several alternatives of his/her own opposite sex as a spouse, but spouse choosing is never accidental. In every culture, besides the circumscriptions which is due to the personal values and desires, there are some circumscriptions which are imposed by the society. Till some decades ago, the family organization was responsible for spouse choosing in Iran, but today each person's role has become more important; although cultural and social conditions have some effect on it. Therefore, nowadays spouse choosing is analyzed as an important social action and many theories have been provided for understanding the patterns of the spouse choosing. In this study and in a theoretical level, two important theories (similar spouses and different spouses) are presented as two corrival theories and then according to similarities of these theories, the indicators of the study are made. After that, by using the survey research method throughout the country and the statistical population of five thousand people, we experimentally assess the indicators of the study and these two theories of the spouse choosing. Results show the domination of the similar spouses' theory in Iran. They also show that approximately 90% of people in the external traits, 89% in the psycho-emotional traits, 93% in the personal traits, 68% in the social level characteristics and 88% in the religious beliefs, follow the patterns of the similar spouses' theory.The analytical results also conclusively show that different groups in Iran choose persons who have more similarity with them in the external, psycho-emotional and personal traits as well as the social level and religious characteristics. Although it should be noted that among men and women, the strangeness and weakness of these patterns are different.
